Gofore wanted to build a common foundation for designers with different levels of AI experience. Two practical workshops combined a broad view of AI in design with hands-on experience building an interactive prototype.
AI-Native Designer explored how AI can support learning, research, synthesis and ideation. Participants focused on giving AI useful context, assessing its output and applying the methods in design projects.
In AI-Powered Prototyping, the team turned ideas into working interactions. Participants practised directing an AI-assisted build, exploring alternatives and refining a prototype while staying in control of the design. Shared materials and reflection prompts helped them continue experimenting after the workshops.
Designers gained a shared vocabulary and practical methods for using AI in client work. The prototyping exercise gave them a way to test ideas beyond static screens, through interactions they could try and discuss.
In its follow-up, Gofore reported positive feedback and continued experimentation with prototyping, giving the team practical experience to build on.
