RELEX Solutions wanted its design team to take a more consistent, responsible approach to AI. Two hybrid workshops brought designers together across locations, with content informed by a skills assessment before the training.
The sessions connected AI fundamentals with everyday design work: planning research, making sense of findings, developing concepts and building prototypes. Participants tested the methods through practical exercises as well as watching demonstrations.
We also explored how to give AI useful context, assess its output and keep human judgment central. Shared Miro boards and training materials helped the team continue the work after the sessions.
Designers gained a common language for discussing AI and practical methods to apply in their projects. Alongside individual experimentation, they developed a shared understanding of where AI can help and where a designer’s judgment is needed.
The team’s feedback highlighted new insights, tools and skills to use straight away, and greater confidence to keep experimenting.
