Siili, a digital consultancy, wanted its team of more than 80 designers to develop a shared approach to AI in client work.
We began with two practical training sessions on AI across the design workflow. Participants explored AI-assisted research planning, synthesis and ideation, and ways to get feedback on designs. We also covered privacy, bias and transparency in client work.
In follow-up reflection sessions, designers shared what they had tried, discussed what worked and developed common principles. Small groups proposed and prioritised guiding principles, then reviewed a Playbook draft based on their input.
These lessons formed the Siili Design Gen AI Playbook. We co-created it with the team, bringing principles, workflows and quality guidance into one shared reference.

The team strengthened its AI capabilities and expanded adoption across design roles.
The co-created Playbook clarified Siili’s approach to AI through shared principles, roles and workflows for everyday design work. Designers have a common foundation to build on, which continues to evolve as the team learns through practice.
